I just printed a shipping label from Pirate Shio to send 1 of my brake kits to a member. There was a note that came up and said that UPS ground now has a partnership with USPS. When I looked at the printed label, it has 2 addresses on it. 1 for the member and 1 for the Post Office. I guess it will go to PO 1st, then to member. It has 2 tracking numbers on it. UPS and USPS. Now 2 different groups of gorillas will be handling the package. I over insured it just to be safe. It appears that the price on Pirate ship has went up also. Looks to be about 10.00.

I wonder why they haven't merged a long time ago. Every day there are 4 or 5 different delivery trucks driving around the neighborhood dropping off packages. Car pool guys, Car pool.

UPS moves the package, then hands it off to the local USPS to deliver.
That's been happening a lot lately with the majority of packages that i have been sending out thru Pirate Ship.
UPS handles it, to a local post office in the cities zip code, then the mailman gets to do the final deliver to the buyers residence.

as above, that's just UPS "ground saver". no biggie.

HOWEVER, double check the insurance! unlike UPS and USPS standard stuff ground saver only covers something like 25~50 bucks. so be sure to opt in for more coverage if you need it!

There 2.5 streets in our neighborhood. About 85 houses.

I've seen as many as five amazon trucks at the same time.

That can't be anywhere near efficient.
