Throttle Bodies with Injectors?

Hey everyone,

I purchased a Megasquirt 2 yesterday, and I am trying to work out a "starter" fuel injection system with TBI.

Ultimately I want to go the MPFI, but in order to get running and start learning faster, I am looking for an aftermarket throttle body that includes the injectors in the body housing. I was thinking about picking up a used EZ EFI or the FITech "Classic".

Has anyone had any experience with this that could recommend one they used?

Hey! I'm half done my Microsquirt v3 with fast EFI TBI 4 injector. Should be done soon. What info did you want to talk about?

Most any factory TBI that is designed for a similar engine IE CID and HP. But many of these, egag, etc are vastly overpriced. Many were made by Holley. If you buy Holley "I think" the aftermarket and factory destinated TBI were different, but the hemispherical injectors are not (I believe) available anymore

I was looking to see what everyone had run, if they had done a throttle body injection system with megasquirt. I was primarily interested if anyone had run into a dead end using one of the common throttle bodies. I wound up finding a good deal on a used holley terminator throttle body and went with that. I've bench tested it with my MS and got the everything working pretty well!

Very nice! Yeah in my travels I haven't come across any speed bumps. The only TBI I would say might have an issue in stock gm TBI or the fitech unit. Only because like you were saying all of the Holley and fast units use the same GM sensors and injectors. It's been awhile since I have looked at my plans... Trying to refresh my memory now

I REALLY screwd up on egag. Got a "good buy" on a "spare" 4bbl Holley TBI "just like" the one I have. Well, it's not progressive!!! Like the old Holley "center squirt" the thing opens all 4 at once
