Throttle bracket

I should add that this top rod for 74 up is non adjustable and that the bottom rod is adjustable at the tranny. Up to 73 the top rod was adjustable. Kim
 
I believe if u use a cruise control cable bracket u can bend how u need and everything lines up pretty close. I think there is another taller cruise bracket but I don’t think I have it. Kim

Here 360 with Edelbrock 4bbl on 8022 alum intake D100 Truck with 727 trans, with the 4 bbl bracket. Real happy how the kickdown worked here and the road speeds associated with it.

To answer your question , yes, the 318/360 2bbl and 340 , 4bbl are different in many ways and so is the kickdown lever . You can change the bracketry or go with a Lokar system . the Lokar system eliminates the b.s. factory brackets (something the factory should have in the first place) basically trouble free . sometimes the factory changed brackets every year and/or body style , crazy .
