Years ago I'd move my clocks and mindset on Friday. It seemed easier to adjust mentally for getting to work Monday and by the middle of the week I was more or less in tune.

Great tuneDoe's anybody really know what time it is ?
We do something kind of similar. We adjust everything by 1/2 hr on Friday night and do the rest on Saturday night. It is sort of like a soft landing.Years ago I'd move my clocks and mindset on Friday. Out of curiosity have you ever worked in the construction industry ?This time change came about because the electric light bulb had not yet been invented.
There was no electrical grid powering every building in the country.
So they move the clock forward to make the daylight last longer at the end of the day.
The total light hours available is exactly the same no matter if the clock is set to our “standard” time or if we move the clocks ahead three hours.
Since we now have electricity and lighting they need to pick a standard and leave the clocks the hell alone.
It’s insanity to do this stupid **** twice a year.
There is ample proven research out there that says the number of car accidents goes up on the Monday after DST changes, and number goes down when changing back to standard time.
Any work that can be done with the available light at 9 pm DST can be done at 9 pm standard time using lighting.
Most businesses like construction or running an engine dyno (just an example for comparison) do not operate after 6 pm regardless of sun light or artificial lighting because the noise and activity irritate residential areas.
So the claim we need the later daylight hours to do more work is now obsolete.
Back in the day, farmers had to quit when it got dark. So did most other businesses because available lighting was about nonexistent.
That is not the case today.
It’s time to END THE MADNESS AND FOLLY of daylight saving time.
It’s become obsolete.

Thanks for not answering the questions.

PM me and let's yak,.
I'm open for a conversation.
It seems you may be open to a different perspectiv and I am 0ptimistic.
I've got way too many war stories about the construction business after 40 plus years in the land development business.
BTW I do appreciate your knowledge, expertise etc. on varied topics.
