Anyone here bought a quality slant double roller timing chain lately and where did you get it/cost.
I believe my truck originally was equipped with a double roller, I have read that industrial hydraulic slant sixes had these but the engine builder put in a cheap single stock unit.
I was recommended this set [ame="http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLLMASTER-170-198-225-Slant-6-Dodge-Plymouth-Chrysler-/171014766075?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27d1463dfb&vxp=mtr"]Rollmaster 170 198 225 Slant 6 Dodge Plymouth Chrysler | eBay[/ame] which I dont have a problem with except that I have never heard the brand-name and dont know the quality.
I am building the truck for durability and trying to optimize what low end performance I can get out of it, Im not going racing and have no desire to turn high RPMs just want to put the highest quality parts within it for longevity purposes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have sent an E-mail to Cloes and am hopeful for a response from them that they still carry the chain I am after.
