Tip hanger location

OK, 72 dart swinger originally single exhaust. Now dual 2 1/4" pipes with straight tailpipes just past the bumper. I just got my new tips http://www.ebay.com/itm/151176672898?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_76wt_1153

The tips fit the pipe so perfectly I was thinking I could mount these myself but it isn't exactly clear to me where the hangers bolt to or how far the tips should stick out past the bumper (if at all). Any help or pics would be much appreciated.

..there is a hole/slot in each frame rail.
install a 1/4 speed nut and your hangers will bolt right on.

heres a pic on a 70 duster. I tack welded the hanger to the frame so the tips wont sag over time, and i positioned the tips so the rectangular part of the tip is directly beneath the bumper and pointed slightly upward. looks great. that's a pypes 2.5 stainless system with there stainless replica tips. those are factory hangers.

thanks, its rust free now but it wasn't when I got it 4 years ago! LOL
