With the wheels I got and the slicks i'm using there is only about 3/8" to a 1/2" between the tire and the springs. What's a good safe distance? Thanks Tom

The more the sidewall the more it will flex or bulge,and could cause it to kiss the spring. But since you are dealing with a leaf spring suspension,you wont have to worry too much about flex,which is a plus!
