To much?

Too much for a 340; probably. 3K sounds reasonable with those carbs AND an Enderle FI? That alot of fuel.

Im building an 8-71 blown sb Mopar.

The 8-71 in the pic is a standard 8-71 blower.
You need a "front offset" 8-71 blower. What this means is that the blower is assembled backwards, with the case offset to the front of the engine. This results in more distributor clearance and a blower that is centered better over the plenum, for better A/F distribution.

The way I read it, I think he was saying that the linkage is for a FI setup but works with the carbs. I have heard of that linkage before.

That's good to know on the offsets. I didn't know that one. I guess it's not an issue with a 6-71 as they are a little shorter.

Right, the 8-71 is 1" longer than a 6-71. If you plan on using a BDS, Hampton intake manifold the 8-71 in the pic will not clear the distributor.
