ToolmanMike has been a great customer and an even better friend the last few years. He never fails to surprise and delight me with totally appreciated and well-thought out presents like this one a couple years back ... I love this shirt.

Anyway, the FedEx guy got yelled at for leaving this on my front porch but his mistake was quickly forgotten when I opened the box. Look what thoughtful Mike hooked me up with THIS time!!! I can only guess he's been noticing my foray into trim restoration ... :-D WOWWWWWWWWW

The anvil is a mere 6 inches in length. It's heavy though, and really nice.

The trim hammer is amazing. Well balanced with a hickory handle, it's so lightweight I just had to put it on the shipping scale to see. And then I went to find the camera. Yeahhhh, that says 7.1 ounces! Now THAT'S a chick hammer if there ever was one. :-D

Yesterday while Billy was fabbing up a thing to hold his drag bike's front wheel on his new build table, I started customizing my new hammer and getting it ready for use. This is only up through 600 grit so far and I've got some more shaping and polishing to do, but I can tell already this bad boy is going to see a lot of action ...
