Hey guys I will be installing a New Hughes Torgue converter in my SB 408 Stroker with a 727 tranny so how much tranny fluid do I put in the converter before I install it. Some said only 4 quarts and some said to fill it up completely. I am leaning towards the 4 quarts. Thought that I would ask the professionals on here. Thanks

I agree- one quart so it is not dry on start up. It will fill quickly as soon as s the pump starts turning. It may hold 4 quarts but will not install with 4 quarts.

Add fluid to the converter and top off the trans. Then start it in neutral not park. make sure it is at the full mark or a little above before starting it.

You will never get 4 quarts in that converter, lucky if you get one in
