My old chilton says 45 ft lbs on 340 rod bolts. Verified the 45 ft lbs on MyMopar.com

I usualy replace my rod bolts w 1/4" brass bolts and tourque them to 13 ft lbs. Works great as long you dont turn it over 9000 RPM. LOL!! JK!

you cant tighten stock bolts to 80 they will stretch till they break before they get there
