I'm going to order torsion bars tomorrow for
my 1970 Dart Swinger.
1.03 unless I get a better deal on another size.
My headers and oil pan hang pretty low so I want
to maintain some height.
Any thoughts before I order would be appreicated.
I could use discount codes if you know of any.
Thanks,
Carl

Just suspension.com code: shopalizer worked a couple months back. Google coupon codes for the website your buying from.

I spoke with John at PST and was told their bars
would drop the ride height 1/2 to 1in due to the
way their bars are clocked.
I already am hanging pretty lower with the headers and pan.
I do not know the correct ride height to begin with, does anyone
have that info available and where to measure from to get the
correct figures?
As it stands its 26in to the center lip of the front fender, 4in floor to oil pan.

Factory service manual will give you car stance at differant points of the undercarrage. The nice thing about going with thicker bars is if you lower your car, it will have a stiffer ride than a thinner bar, so it kinda compensates the same ride quality at a lower stance. On my 66 Monaco 500, it was slammed to the ground, and always scrapped the ground it was so floatey.
