No sir, no front and back. Reversing the front and back doesn’t change the direction the ends of the bar are twisted or the offset on the hex.

But seriously, I "thought" I had read that the numbers go to the rear, which would make them front to rear. But maybe that was for the sake of being able to see the numbers easily.

So when the spindle is installed, and the UCA is sitting on the upper bump stop, the torsion bar lever is tight against the adjusting bolt with the bolt threaded all the way out?

This is 100% false.

At full droop the adjusters MUST still be loaded

I think we are saying the same thing just from two perspectives. Your coming from the rest of the suspension is installed. I'm thinking that if only the lower was installed he may have installed the bar one index too tight causing the adjuster to be all the way out.

Maybe I don't understand what his problem is.

They are stock small block bars 892R 893 L

Those are actually HD front suspension bars. One step up from standard V8, one step down from BB bars.
