Torsion Bars- Which end goes where?

My new torsion bars are marked R and L. So assume that Left is Driver side and Right is Passenger side. Also, how do I know which end goes where? It seems like if there is a left and right then it matters which end points forward and the other back.

It doesn't matter. If you think about it the twist will be the same either way you install them.

You are right! I just had to draw it out to make sure. Now is R the passenger side and L the driver side?
