Trans dip stick handle color

Hi all,
Does anyone know what the original color was of the dip stick handle for a 1967 barracuda 273 Commando with the 904 trans? I see a very small amount of blue on it now.
Oh, and I guess I should ask about the engine dip stick color also.

My bad, I misread your question as engine dipstick instead of trans... I guess that makes ME the dipstick.
The only trans dipstick color I have seen is semi-gloss black, otherwise bare steel. The tube has always been natural, although I see a lot of replacement and aftermarket tubes that have been black.

67 dart 904 273 1 family. Trans was rebuilt once.
I assume the tube and dipstick we're with the trans when my dad pulled it and brought it to the trans rebuilders.

The rubber looks old but I assume it can be replaced.

It is magnetic so had some amount of iron.

Thats exactly what my dip stick looks like except instead of leftover black paint I see a little blue. I am going to paint it black.
