Transition Canyon?

A guy I know bought a Mopar in Las Vegas and drove it the 4 hours back home with this carburetor.
He said the idle was rough.

How do I set the T slot on this?
I have already swapped everything over to a new body, so now it's a spare Edelbrock 750 electric choke.

Idle screw gorilla syndrome I guess.
That's the only thing I can think of to knock a chunk out of the transition slot area.
