TrickFlow Heads?

Are your cylinder bores on the loose side to the piston skirt as well?

On these Ross pistons the clearance is .005. It really depends on the material of the forged piston and the relation of where the oil hole is to the oil ring groove. That design determines how cool it runs and how much expansion will take place with the nitrous.

I give the specs to the piston manufacturer and tell them the intended use. They do the calculations from there. But I've gone as tight as .002 and as loose as .007.

We made 585/496 on E85 and 592/484ish on 116 with them in a stock stroke deal. I think with a little more time we could have broke the 600 mark. Can't wait to drive the car. Almost had the chance this summer but had to switch gears and work on this old house before the rains came.

Yeah, I saw on their site if you order them now they are set to ship in February.
I just got notification my Trick Flow heads has shipped, should be here Tuesday. I ordered them in July of this year, about four months out.
