Have a 1970 "B" body 8 3/4, in my Dart. I want to order new wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and a complete hardware kit. How do I figure out what size brakes I have (10",11")? Also are 2 1/2 shoes correct? Am also confused about the wheel cylinders, as far as bore size?
Thanks

Get casting numbers, off the wheel cylinders. Any decent parts guy, should match that casting number,& backtrack from there.Bringing the actual physical parts in with you to the parts store ,helps eliminate communication errors.

Bringing the parts in is a good idea -- as just mentioned. However, you might do best by leaving one wheel side completely assembled. One guy just recently wrote in that he took all the brake parts off and can't remember how they go back together.

If it still has a brake drum on it it should be marked for the diameter.

Got the rear brakes on and bled. So, Sunday, I after 4 years, I can finally let this angry rig loose. I've had the 572 started. Now it's time to shred some tires.
Thanks for all the help.
