My trunk lock is broken on my 73 valiant the middle of the lock looks drilled out a little and I tried putting flathead in there and turning but it turns about half an inch to each side but thats it please help .
Trunk lock broken help please.

moving on ain't easy if you drive a Ford :p
remove rear seat and crawl thru with flatbalde screwdriver and stick in the slot and turn to left trunk will open, from there you can pull clip to rmove trunk lock

How do I get the rear bench seat out ?
you have to get a knee up to the front of the bottom seat, and puch the seat to the rear as you lift up. needs to be done on both sides. then, once that is out, there should be 2 7/16 bolts holding the lower section of the top to the body. remove them. then, push in on the seat as you lift up
