I've had my 67 Barracuda for 35 years, so I've followed the Mopar scene a long time. I am currently running a mild 451 stroker using Schumacher Headers. They fit well, but they're a bit restrictive. They're getting rusty and ugly and I'm planning to refresh the whole car in the summer. After all these years, I have yet to see any photos of the 1.75 TTI header clearance around a mopar PS box. The 1-5/8" Schumachers are so close that you can barely see light between them. Thus, I am a bit skeptical. If anyone who has this setup can share any pics or their experiences, I'd appreciate it.
BTW. or has a factory big block K-Member.

I can't answer the question. All I can add is my 72 Duster had a 440 with the Schumacher headers and ps. I switched to manual steering and 2" Tti for my 505rb.
If the 1 3/4 Tti would have worked with ps I would have considered it.

Ive had my Barracuda since I was 22. I just turned 58 the other day. My first swap to big block was a 440 with 2" CPPA (now TTI) headers and I removed the PS. It was a bear to steer, and eventually had a 451 built with Schumachers and put the PS back on. They've advertised the 1.75 TTI headers fitting power steering on a short deck big block only, which was going to be an option in the future. We'll, the future is now, and Ive still yet to see this set up anywhere.

If you go to the TTI website and look up for 1 3/4 inch headers they will work with power steering. But before I order, I would call them and discuss in detail about your engine and your power steering. I have a set of 2 to 2 1/8 long tube headers on my 1967 barracuda with a 383 stroke to a 431 and they fit perfect only with manual steering and fit perfectly around the torsion bars. They built some great headers you’re gonna pay for them, but their great headers sound great on my car.

Perhaps take a look at Magnum Force products and follow up with a call. Its been ten years since I visited their shop, but the owner seemed to have a high attention to detail.

Headers for Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, Hemi, Big Block, Small Block, Gen 3, 392, Hellcat, for Magnum Force Suspensions and more TTI exhaust

Thanks for the replies. Prior to my B engine stroker, I had a used 440 with 2" TTI headers, and ditched the PS. They were definitely nice design, and fit without a single ding. Now with the short deck and Schumachers, the pipes are so close to the power steering box, I just can't bring myself to believe that stepping up from the tiny 1-5/8" primaries to 1-3/4" will fit without using a hammer.
