Just finished up my TTI 2.5" exhaust using Hooker headers. Had to make some adapters then had to modify the tail pipes for the relocated springs. Took a couple afternoons but I'm just slow. If I get around to installing the TTI headers at a later date I will weld up all the areas that have clamps and remove the clamps.
TTI headers and exhaust systems are a little pricey but in my opinion well worth the money. To get the same quality at an exhaust shop with mandrel bends would cost way more than there systems do.
Also I have been having tire rub with the 275/60/15 on the rear fender lips. So I took the die grinder cutter and removed about a 1/4" from each side. No more rubbing!
Seems like a new car with the exhaust system all the way out to the rear of the car and no tire rubbing.
Tomorrow is Car Crafts Magazines Anti Tour drive up to Morrow Bay. We meet up at Willwood Brakes shop in Camarillo for a shop tour I guess. then head up the back way through the Los Padres National Forest to Morrow Bay for Cruise night and a huge car show on Saturday. Took the Dart last year. Tire sidewalls were smoking on hard corning on the fenders. This year cornering should be a lot less dramatic.
Also took out the solid motor mounts and installed some rubber. The car is going to be riding like a Cadillac. Tightened up a few bolts on the oil pan and front cover maybe it will stop the oil leak.
Looking at around a 600 mile drive round trip for anti tour.
looks good. i just got my 2.5" tti x-pipe today. using aar style mufflers to exit in front of rear tire. should be interesting to see how it goes together. id like to make that cruise nxt year maybe...gas would not be cheap tho.

Should be home tomorrow, so far nice trip and no problems. Great group of guys that we made the drive with. Should have a few pictures to post when I get home.
There was a few Mopars that were very nice. Then I had my original paint Dart it gets mixed reviews about 50% say it just needs paint. The other 50% say its perfect don't do a thing. I'm on the fence depends on the day of the week.
The 70 Cuda runs 10.50's just the way he drove it on the tour with 4:56 gears. He also had a gear vender overdrive to make it a little more street friendly. It's a really a nicely done "E" body. It's an original 340 car now sporting a big block. He has had the car for 25 years, cool guy.
The Challenger T/A was a clone but it was well done. Up in Morrow Bay at the Car show must have been 400 cars and I only seen one other a body it was a 1968 Barracuda coupe all original.
