Tubular upper A arms

I just bought some tubular upper A arms from Classic Performance Products, for my 65 Barracuda and I found that they are about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider than the mounting brackets, has anyone els had this problem?

what part number did you buy. If the arms, fit a B/E body car, no go...
