How much boost is that Hemi 6 running, and how's the engine longivity?

That thing hauls, but does it last?

Thanks for the videos!

The Hemi Six is as durable or more so than the slant( seven main bearings),and has more potential(better head design, larger bore) and responds very well to boost.

That's interesting. I would like to know how much boost he has to run to get that thing as fast as it is. It must make 700 horsepower... a bunch!

Thanks for al the good info and videos/pictures. We don't see much of that engine over here....

up date, we ran the 1/8 today 5.34@129 , still turning it up

Dang man!! that's hauling the mail Congratulations on this build

2700 lbs and powerglide with brake

That's truly amazing!

I know that online HP calculators aren't perceived by most as being very accurate, but I put those figures in the Walllace online calculator to see what IT would say about all this:

2700 pounds at 160 mph (prognosticated from 129 mph in the eighth-mile is 160 in the quarter)

and 8.95 seconds in the quarter (same 1/8th to 1/4 mile conversion; 5.94 seconds in the eighth.)

According to Wallace, that car will go 160 MPH in the quarter in 8.95 seconds.

That takes 900 horsepower to run that MPH and 744 to run that E.T.

That's just amazing...

Even IF the Wallace figures are not really very accurate, it's STILL amazing!!!

Give him my congratulations, please....:prayer:
