I've been in two minds about this for a while, I may have mentioned the E48 charger I've been slowly restoring over the last few months, although, i have been having issues finding a correct numbers engine block for the car.
So, i've been thinking of throwing a basic 265 in the bay, but instead of the webers the car was origionally fitted with, maybe i should throw this in the bay (which kind of fell in my lap
)
The hairdryer is a garret gt 4082 (which i'm assuming is a gt, ball bearing , t4 with an ar of .82) coupled to a 4.3 litre 6 with around 9:1 compression, could be an interesting combination, for the budget i've allocated.
Whaddya think chap's and chappets? good or bad? what are you thinking?
