Just recently the right turn signal in my 67' dart has started coming on (solid green) whenever I press the brake pedal, seems pretty bizarre but could this be something to do with the turn signal switch?

For starters, check the brake light bulbs.
Should be an 1157, dual filament bulb.
Make sure the offset pins twist in the socket correctly.

Start by inspecting front and rear lamp on that side. Inspect for ungrounded socket, bad /shorted bulb, and problems in pigtail/ spring/ wires/ contacts right there at socket.

One way to tell if socket is ungrounded is to turn on park lights. Ground a meter or test lamp, then stab the probe into the side of the socket. If test lamp lights or meter shows voltage, socket is ungrounded

I have had shorted bulbs do this, "two elements welded together", also bad ground on front or rear bulb. Take out the front bulb step on brake then do the rear and see if it stops. If removing the front bulb stops it, fix the ground on that socket.
