I'm in the process of putting my front end back together on my 73 Duster. In the process I swapped to disc brakes and a 340 K frame and LCAs from a 72 Duster with a sway bar. The question I have now is...
In putting the passenger side back together I noticed that the front nut/bolt that holds the lower ball joint to the spindle hits the mounting tab for the sway bar when turning the wheels left. I tried turning the nut/bolt around so that the nut was on the inside of the rotor, but then it would rub on the rotor. It seems to me like it should have more room to be able to turn sharper, but that's why I'm asking you guys. Is that what's supposed to happen?
Let me know if I didn't explain it well enough...
Thanks,
Jon
