Twin post mirror repair

I have a couple of 65 twin post mirrors that are cracked. Is it possible to replace the mirror only, or do I replace the entire assembly? Thanks

There is a snap ring around the edge of the glass. Push the glass in gently against the spring holding it forward and remove that ring. You can then take the old glass to a glass shop and they'll cut you a new one.
