U Joint Girdle

Personally, I have no complaints with stock straps and bolts. I think they work just fine, and are a great deal tougher than they are given credit for.

The following illustrates my belief. It happened when I crossed the line at 120mph

Mine had u-bolts already & I have a new Moroso girdle I've never used before. Just wondered which would be best of the two.

OK Im guessing right along with you!
Moroso design will only clamp the cap as much as it was designed for. Good for those that over torque.
The u- bolt design will insure you get a good bit on the cap.........even if some manufacturer quality control failure happens, and the cap was sent out under sized..........just me thinking out loud.

Thanks for the info guys. Going with u-bolts.
U bolts my choice. Had the driveshaft come out in pieces at 128, cut the right rear slick, had 6 3/4 in the other , w/ about 42 in the front. Got pretty darn hairy, couldn`t keep up w/ it, think GOD straightened it up , I couldn`t.
