I did a 72 340 Barracuda at the time I worked at a bodyshop that was a Rhinoliner dealer, Hemi orange color matched and sprayed the floors inside and out, trunk area and underside of the inner fenders. matched great, nothing could protect better, sound deadned. At the time we sprayed a lot of interior for streetrods musclecars and people loved it the sound deading was amazing and true rhinolining is unreal tough. The rest of the undercarriage parts were either painted ,powder coated or detailed in someway.

My 71 Dart I am doing now I'm doing body color. When I sprayed the gray epoxy I liked it so much I was tempted to leave it and do the overspray thing, but it isn't a correct restoration so body color it is!

At this time it's tied on the choice 30 and 30.I hope to have the bottom done this weekend and I'll post a picture of the results.-------Thanks------

I did my 67 Dart with Rust-Oleum red primer then battlesip gray with satin black axle, springs and front suspension. Did it on my back with the car on jack stands with a brush and spray cans. I intend for the body to be white and metalic blue eventually. That will not be brush paint.

No they did not.

The undercarriage was grey primer (except LA plant) with body color paint oversprayed from the side onto the undercarriage. ie parts facing he side of the car will get more overspray than parts facing downward or inward (very little overspray

Cars built at the Los Angeles assembly plant have a black primer in he underside.

1965 Darts built at the LA plant used moss green primer 22" up from the bottom of the car. The inner fender from top dowm was green too. Even area between fender and inner fender was green! Rest of the undercarrige was oversprayed!

okay and here is a question for you why not truck bed line the underside of your car makes it easier to clean keeps the road rash of the bottom and if it is not a show who cares. and with the monster liner i posted comes in a lot of colors that are close match stock colors

Just me maybe because I'm old and just spent many hours removing this stuff

OK here's the results since it was such a close vote I sort of did a combination your vote counted
