funny thing is i checked to see if the 4.7 ram was smaller, and it was the same size, but cheaper. Do you guys think that maybe the 4.7 one doesnt include the auto trans cooler stuff? HHMMMMM

Those brackets are temporary, until I can find somebody to bend them straight for me. But they work, it's in solid, doesn't move at all. I used the "J" shaped brackets that came in the mounting kit down on the bottom, they're sitting underneath holding the whole thing up.

DODGENUT 64
I was asleep at the wheel, I will get the measurements for you tonight

and it's working good.. temps in the mid 20's celcius and nothing over
200 degrees on the motor, even in heavy traffic.

core measures 21 inches wide by 18 inches tall
With the side tanks, overall width is 26 1/4 inches

I have a Northern rad as well along with the universal mounting brackets, I just did some cutting and welding on the top ones and the bottom ones went right into the orginal holes, the tops look kinda big a doofy though IMO

Thanks, You all just helped alot. I have been trying to figure out what radiator to put in my 65 dart to keep it running cooler

I bought a summit radiator part # SUM-380460 for my Duster that I'm putting a 440 in. It's a tight fit but it already has the mounting brackets on it and the outlet is on the proper side for the MP alum. water pump housing. If you read in the application it says it will work in a lot of b-bodies with big blocks so keeping one cool shouldn't be an issue. If you need the inlets and outlets on the opposite sides order a part # SUM-380459. I ordered this one for my son's 93 Doge pick up we're putting warm 360 in. Summit also a shroud with or without fans in a couple configurations. I ordered the one with dual 10" fans and my son wanted the one with one 16" fan. I wanted dual fans that way if I lost one due to failure I could limp home on one.

oh the brackets are aluminum built by be-cool, says in the summit catalog 'for 22" chysler openings' or something. Had a local metal shop weld those in there, and also installed a petcock at the bottom

Anybody else have universal aluminum radiator experience? Found this one for $268 with brackets already on it. http://www.alumorad.com/chrysler-300-new-all-aluminum-radia.html It even kind of looks factory. It's either that or the SUM-380425 for my '72 Scamp.

I doubt that one will fit in an A-body. It's for a C-body and is a 26" wide core so with the brackets will probably be too big to fit between the frame rails of an A-body. I measured my Cuda recently and the biggest that'll fit good is 24" wide core. That leaves barely an inch on each side. Really no reason to go bigger anyway since the core opening is only 22".
