Uhh, I wouldn't consider THAT an unwanted. Looking really nice!
I had a Porsche 914, and an MB 250/8. Oh wait, I also had a Mercury Bobcat.

Depends who you ask, I guess- I owned a '70 and a '73 Dart, both slant 6, both 4 door. That's a good thing to me, but lots of people seem to disagree. Closest thing I've owned that fits the bill was a two-tone grey '82 Fairmont 2-door sedan w/ the 2.3 four-cylinder- what a dog.

I had a ford maverick with a six. total piece of junk, but it would spin the tires in 1st and 2nd. no power no traction fix or repair daily

I had a 70 maverick with a straight 6 too. What a POS. Floored down a hill it might do 80..... with a tailwind. I also had a 4 door Merc Montego with a s-6 and a three on the tree. What a fine machine, lol.

'75 Mustang II. It was such a POS, I didn't even take a pic of it. Rust colored, 2.3L 4 banger w/4 speed. Such a piece of crap, had no compression at all. I could start that damn thing in gear w/o the clutch. I still give my mother **** about it to this day. (came home from H.S to find it in the driveway, asked who's POS it was, Yours she says! Then I had to pay her back for it).
My 1st car, it withstood a lot of abuse. Too easy to spin out. Strong sheet metal tho lol. I sold it to a wino janitor for $200, a couple years after that I was amazed to see a young couple driving it.

my first car was a 75 monte carlo with a 400 small block. my parents gave it to me. i didnt really want it, but it was a good car. it got me around for a couple years with little maintnence. i basically beat it into the ground. but i wouldnt say it was unwanted. they are kind of popular here in the ghetto, so it got broken into a few times. but crooks run when your coming at them with a baseball bat haha.
It has nothing to do with it being a GM. It has to do with the fact that people forgot or didn't want these cars as years passed. Most of them hit the crusher or were ate up by rust due to cheap metal. Try and find one of these in the condition this one is in. It took me 18 years to find this one. My first car was a 1973 Olds Cutlass Supreme and I never got to drive it (long story!).

mine wold have to be a chevy monza with a 4 banger in it... i think i would of liked the spider better with a 305.

I owned a 1975 Chevy Nova for about a year in the early 1980s. Also a '72 Toyota Corolla right before that...
The Nova had a 350ci engine..it was an OK car for what it was..
The Toyota was a POS..

Boy, I would be so tempted to slightly modify that Volare with some Magnum wheels, slight tint of the glass, flat black hood (possibly with dual snorkle hood), and a decent sounding exhaust and drive that joker! Almost could make a R/T look alike out of that. I wouldn't say that car would qualify as "unwanted."
Now thats what I'm talking about! Welcome to the club! Seriously that thing is in awesome shape!

Out of the 10 cars i have owned, a 1979 Ford LTD takes it, it had a 302, its only saving grace, the car was crap, but you couldnt kill it, it leaked like sieve after it overheated once, but it kept going, eventually gave it away.
I had a 1978 Chrysler LeBaron, it wasnt a real pos, its lean burn messed up and it wasnt relieable any longer, wish i had kept it, could have put a new motor in it, it was a two door, it would have made a nice rod.
