For those who asked this is the info so far.

After Steve pulled the timing gear off of the cam shaft. He found The cam manufacture and #PN.

It was a Schneider racing cam company from San Diego Ca.

He called them with the #PN and it was a custom grind for that engine built in 1989 for Richardson Auto Machine in Virginia.

He then called the machine shop and they had record It was build originally for a dragster They called it a 1200 NA Alcohol Hemi it made 1180 HP .
Cam specs are
lift 768 int.
756 ex.
Duration 332
valves are 2.400 int. 1.940 ex.
Rockers are
1.75 int
1.6 ex
Compression ratio is 15-1

The engine had 2-3 dyno pulls. The owner sold it to a person in Maryland for a pulling truck . That person went through a bad divorce and left it with the shop that was building the truck. The shop owner then died and his son kept it in a heated garage wrapped up for 30 years . That is who gave my son the deal on the complete engine as pictured.

We then bought the Hilborn/Enderle injection on the way home off of a Hemi Willis from California. The injection was never run on the Willis. The Willis looked like this car I found on the web. It had the s200's on the rear and black steel wheels on the front. It was either a clone of the car from Rebel of the road. Or it was that car. He was not sure, I asked. I also asked several times if the car was for sale. It was a firm No! at that time But We will keep in touch. The Hemi was out of the car and it had a small block Chevy going in it. The Hemi was already sold.

Both the owner of the Hemi engine we bought and the owner of the Willis were die hard Chevy families. Probably why they were both a steal. for the price we paid. If only we could have been there before the engine was sold that was taken from the Willis. He said it was a factory race Hemi engine that had that intake bolted on but never hooked up.

The engine we bought is already in the Machine shop getting a refresh with newer upgraded parts.
