After I relocated and hooked-up the reverse light switch and the neutral safety I forgot to show the pics of the neutral safety override switch. I wanted it to be easy to get to but also not noticeable. It's now mounted under the console but can be easily accessed from the drivers seat. I pulled the carpet back so you could see it in the pics. I had to lay on the ground to get a good shot so it's hidden pretty good. If my home made neutral safety switch fails my back up is at my fingertips!!

Be careful and don't start it in gear. That's why the neutral switch is there. :banghead:

Jus' sayin after the fact, but would have been a lot safer to use a spring loaded switch, IE push button.

Well actually I did. This is the back up in case the spring loaded one fails.
I had the neutral safety on the tranny and I'm swapping the 904 for a 2004r. So I mounted a neutral safety switch on the console along with the reverse light switch. The toggle switch is there in case the spring loaded one fails so I don't have to worry about removing the console by the side of the road. I meant to post this on my '69 Barracuda 2004r thread and accidently started this new thread. Here's where this should be.
