Ok, so I used the puller setup with the all thead to remove the bushings from my uca. One came out fine, the other pulled the inside through and when it came out it must have enlarged the hole because the new bushing slides right in all the way by hand. Am I screwed or is there a fix for this? Thanks for any help. Rick
 
I would say you need a replacement. But they are not that hard to find. What year are you working on?
 
Its a 70 swinger with later model discs I believe are 73 big ball joints
 
Which side is it? I have several pairs and I have one extra I think it is a left side but I'll have to check when I get home.
 
Its one on each side. So I guess I need both sides
 

Several ways to fix it. Depending on your tools and whether or not you can afford new arms, the arms you have can be tightened up and the bushings tack welded for security. That was the factory fix. It is easier to replace them, though. Can also go tubular.
