Upper control arm ball joint socket requirements

-
That's the first thing I do when I want more information that what's on a web site.....pick the phone up.

Found the A body small and large bolt pattern yesterday so think all is good. Never had idea there were so many and in different sizes i.e. 1-7/8, 1-29/32, 1-59/64. 3/64 difference. Am anxious to see the small bolt pattern socket. No size associated with it but seller stated it was for Chrysler small ball joints. Thanks for everyone's comments even though some sarcastic. Will learn to use the phone more often. Regards, Jeff

Many moons ago I bought both sockets from a vendor at Carlisle. I only knew there was a large and small version, not aware of a third size. The two should cover just about everything you will come across.
A bodys went to the large ball joint in 73 for disc brake cars. I think drum still used the smaller joint.
The control arms and ball joints from '73 and up were the same whether it came with disc or drum.
