When upgrading the A-body to disc brakes with lbp, do you have to use the '73 and later uca's? Or is it possible to use say B,and or E body uca's? Thanks.

B/E body uca's will not fit the arms are a different size and the spacing on the bushings is way off.Your best bet is a reconditioned set of large ball joint uca's.I know there are machined inserts to make the small ball joint arms fit the spindle but have no idea whether or not they work effectively and safely.Baring those two options your only other choice is a set of tubular uca's.which can open up a whole new set of issues.
