Upper window seal install

Anyone have any good tips on installing the long upper weather stripping that goes above the windows in a 68 barracuda fb? Some pics of the door seals in place would be great, especially the orientation and fitment of the vertical seal that goes between the door window glass and the rear quarter window glass. Thanks....Roy

All of those seals slide into metal channels and will only go one way.
If they dont seal right , worn door hinges are the most likely reason. Renew the hinges and get door alignment correct before you start removing interior panels to adjust the glasses to the seals. Just method to the madness that I learned the hard way.

just got thru doing both of these projects, and putting the windows in that some one else took out, took a lot of overnight thinking about it for me, of course I`m not in any hurry, just doing the things that need to be done while saving $ for parts. do you have a service manual? it helps some, watch what you buy for the seals all sellers parts aren`t the same, when you get them figured out, use black 3-m sealer to help keep them in and seal them. don`t forget the seal that goes above the chrome strip that the window sealers go in to.
the front glass slides are very expensive if you don`t watch for a deal,after I bought mine, I found them on ebay for 1/3 the price I gave for them, lesson learned- don`t get in a hurry for parts, wait for "the sale' if you can. good luck-------bob
