Upping 380hp Crate engine CR on Pump gas?

I'm looking to port heads like Magnum head porting for the beginner and add a small shot of Nitrous 75-125 hp and upgrade to pistons to forged looking to gain cr how much could I go and still be on pump gas 93, 10:1?

Cam is 288/292 on 108 lsa .501/.513 think the 0.050" 231/236 ish. Figure the porting and raised cr would get me at least 450 hp NA, 525-575 hp on nitrous. It's got a 2800 stall reverse shift 727 and right now 2.94 gears soon to be upgraded to 3.55-4.30 have narrowed it down yet.

My answer is Yes. I have a LA 360 zero deck with a xe274 230/236 dur, 3 k stall and 10.2-1 comp w/ Indy/RHS X heads 2.02 valves. The trick is to get your quench set right with the correct head gasket. I run Sunoco 93 and keep my temps down with a Milodon 180 degree stat and Milodon Alum high flow water pump, dual SPAL elec fans with a Champ 600 hp rad and their shroud. Engine is 186 deg in the heat 92* @ 70mph/3k rpm and 193 at the stop light.

No issues.

10:1 should be fine , i ran 10:4 with no problem though it would ping if lugging up a hill in 2nd gear with the 3:23 gears , would have to drop into first gear going up the hill

10:1 on pump gas with nitrous and only a 2800 stall with 2.94s sounds like a rattle waiting to happen. How much will this car weigh? If you do spray it, run a separate fuel system and use good gas when on the juice.

I'll be adding gears way before Nitrous. somewhere 3.55-4.30 not sure yet.
