USCARTOOL Frame Rails install question

There are some tabs on the top front of the rails. Do these need to be removed? No instructions. :read2: they keep the rest of the rail from touching the floor pans.

If the tabs are in the way and preventing the ties from fitting the contours, I would trim them off.

I ground them off when I installed mine a couple months back, you're absolutley right no instructions and thats the only way they fit...once there off things go much easier, I had to do minimal grinding to get a great fit. good luck
