using slant 6 suspension with BB

I am wondering if the stock 6 suspension is up to the task of a mild 383 or 440 in my 71 Demon?

I plan to re-bushing the entire setup with Prothane bushings but will the stock leafs handle it?

it will also be getting XV Motorsports SFC's (whenever they get them back in stock)

rear end will be a B body 8 3/4 not the 7 1/4 LOL
