I have a '73 Scamp that had all the vacuum lines removed when I got it. I ran the necessary line to the distributor, but there are fittings sticking out of the firewall for the heat and AC, and I don't know what to hook to where. Anyone help? It's a v8 car.

does it have factory a/c ? you might be missing vacuum ball/reservoir on pass side inner fender

The diagrams "in bits and pieces" are in the service manual, in the AC section, and the emissions section. You can download a 73 factory manual here, fer free:

There should not be much in the way of vacuum "fittings" through the firewall for the AC, only one or two, one of which would be for the water control valve. The other would come off the engine, go to the vacuum tank, and through the firewall to supply vacuum TO the dash control
