value , orginal or hot rod ???

i have a 68 valiant 2 door matching number v-8 273 , 73,000 miles orginal paint , rust free, no bondo all metal would value drop on this if i upgraded the brakes, rearend and drop a healthy 360 in it ? car was appraised 7yrs ago for 7500.00 in same shape other then few more miles. only thing i did so far to car was tinted windows and added strips. im 3rd owner very soild car.

No, it wont depreciate the value but keep in mind you wont get back nearly what you put into it either. It isn't a B or E body or a Hemi A body
 
Nice car! I'm with "hemi". No upgrades you do will hurt the value, but you really need to decide if it's a car you'll keep and enjoy vs a short term ride. If you love it and want to keep it for a while, go for it and make it your own. :thumleft:
