Thanks
Steve

70 and 71 most people say are the same but there is a slight difference on the loom is a quarter inch to 3/8 in difference in placement....I've had both

Believe it or not those are the same valve covers that came on a 70 AAR Cuda some say they were a little different but they weren't

So worth investing a little elbow grease into then lol. I thought I saw a thread on here somewhere about AAR/TA covers.
I wish our Commando covers organized the wires as nice as these.
Tempting to wrinkle black them but they still wouldnt have the shiny fins.

There's a pair on eBay for $750 ....they are very desirable covers...many $45k cars don't even have them on them

I've got correct factory Commando valve covers on our 67. Best looking Mopar valve cover hands down.
IMO Ma mopar made cool and functional stuff that for the most part didnt need upgrading.
To each their own.
I have a pair of vintage Cal Custom valve covers that I'm using. They're thick aluminum so no flex or worn out flange holes. It's old school look and function. If you decide to go another route, this is a good option. Definitely stay away from the cheap Chinese garbage.

There was a thread around here with information about different years of valve covers. I need to add that to the sticky list.

I believe the only difference between the T/A covers and the rest of the 340 covers is the stand alone wire loom is located in a slightly different location. With the larger six pack air breather more space was required so slightly different location. Small modification but otherwise yes the same.
