My 67 273 value covers have some flimsy sheet metal retainers for wires that go to alternator and temp sensor. 2 limbs on retainer. One of each 2 already broken off. In the trunk are some white plastic harness retainer thingys made for a single sheet metal tang. Those worked great in the engine bay too. I did use more modern vinyl corrugated wire loom throughout my engine bay but.. next time i need to remove that valve cover, setting the wire harness off of it is not a problem. The single tang that remains will last 500 years. LOL
