valve spring question?

Im running comp 995-16 valve springs right now and am gonna down grade to 901-16. My question is will my retainers and keepers still work with the 901 or do I need all new.

Looks like for the most part the retainer numbers overlap. Keepers should be the same degree so that shouldn't be a problem...........

just looked over at summit and you should be able to use the same retainer.. and locks...i think it was 1.50 inside and 6.90 outside on both springs..

Dual springs need the retainers witht he right sized inner step to locate the inner spring. Once you have that special retainer, as long as the single spring is the same ID and OD as the outer of the duals, you can run that same retainer. It's going single to double where there's a problem. Not the other way around.

whats the comp part number you used for your locks? were they stock valves?
