Victor 340 vs Mopar M1

-
If you go to Hughesengines.com they built a 580-600hp 360 with both intakes & I got the impression the Victor was superior. The Mopar had been modified.

Which is superior? I'll go with the newer Victor intake over the older M1.
I knew a guy that picked up a couple of tenths with the switch to the Victor.

I think it would depend on the level of the engine build. I'm sure that the Victor has a bigger plenum and would work better with larger and/or higher rpm engines.

:read:locomotion I think is dead on and has done his homework

Exactly, gearing and converter(or stick)are the 2 first need to knows.2nd,how much airflow(at what lift),and what of cam timing?

Ran both on a 360 with eddy heads and 950 holley...probably not a .10 difference between the two...

both have the ports gasket matched.
