Video Camera For The Dragstrip? Thoughts?

So, I'm looking for a good quality video camera for the dragstrip , thats around $200 bucks or so. I'm using a digital camera, right now, but it's a little out dated. Something that the wife can run fairly easy thats halfway decent quality.
Any input would be great!

here is a thread i started for in car camera's... something to think about is an external mic... most of the pro's at the track that take the vids recommend a external mic for the best sound...

Need a zoom? My In-laws Sony Blogy takes some pretty good HD video. And its about 120, good build quality too,

I was thinking more of a video camera that the wife can run from the stands.
Or can you do that with a GoPro also?

GoPro is the way to go for in car. I'm sure it could be used from the stands as well. I use a Canon digital with zoom in the stands at the track and it works great.
