It sounds really healthy. What was done to it ?

not all that much... had about 10.5 compression with trw pistons, floating wrist pins, 906 heads (stock), 292/501 comp cam, wieand 8009 dual plane intake and 750 holley. 3500 stahl transmission specialties convertor, 727 manual valve body, 3:55 gear 8 3/4. there is probably a ton of things i would do different if i did it today. it was really my first project except for putting a 360 in the same car but that was easy. i really didn't know what i was doing... not that i do now but i think i know more then i did then...lol.

Its awsome car. nasty looking in black. Now were am I going to find a 64/65 valaint cheap

lol... i don't know but i really want to have another one. i do still have tho 440 mounts for it.. plus i have the small block mounts and exhaust manifolds for it laying around here too.. if i ever get another one i will probably stick a mild small bock in it and drive the hell out of it...

Makes me alittl pissed of That I had one and my father sold it for $200.

It was stripped down but it was real solid.

Schumacher makes mounts now.

i hear you there... they make all the sheet metal i needed for that car. i ended up putting all the stuff on a 72 demon and cutting that valiant up.... makes me sick now.. yea schumacher makes mouns now but no one makes headders yet. wonder if they will come or not? would make things easier...

I bet headers are a long way off. I just dont see a big enough demand for them. But if they made them maybe the demand would be there. Then again if they made the mounts there must be some demand.

Im pretending I didnt read that you cut that thing up.

lol... i know it makes me sick now... i have video of it going to the crusher somewhere around here.... man no one wanted those cars back then... if only you could turn back time.... i wouldn't have room for all the stuff i cut up or sold.... who would have know they wouldn't be around forever....
