The second picture from the bottom in the first set had always been one of my favorites.
 
lets not for get about The Golden Lancer , from what I read it was ok but must not have been fast enough?

Here's a link to the Keystone Dragways & Bison Dragways archives. This NHRA sanctioned track lasted from 1964 to 1976 near Winnipeg Mb. Hosted the Can-Am Nationals, a round of the NHRA Winston World Championship Series in 75 & 76. At some point in its history every big name in racing was here.

Some really great shots here. The picture of Don Garlits standing beside his 69 Charger 500 was taken right here In Seffner Fl. in front of his house. I lived close by about 5 blocks away.
