Vinyl Top Clips

I went to look back on R/T Specialties site and found these. http://www.rtspecialties.net/proddetail.asp?prod=1000124

I was thinking if they are just wide enough to snap unto the mounding. If so, I could either use screws or rivets to hold them in place.

I dont see how those would work.... the screws that go into the sail panel, the heads of them are what the moulding snap onto

hey 66, i just looked up altha on ebay.and they still have the clips. it shows a 16 peice set for valiant/barracuda and dart for 18.95. it shows a number of 836599. their phone# is 850-762-2179. i had my sail panels already off, so i could get to the inside nuts pretty easy. and by the way, my 72 dart parts car still has the studs welded on the sides. if you dont take the sail panels off, theres no way you would ever be able to get to the screws. i guess thats why they used the studs. hope this helps. dave.

Ok, thanks.....But I have an idea that might work without taking the sail panels off.

I will post what I did if it works......
